A Short Story- 55 Years ago a guy and a girl got married. Over the years they had 5 kids... and 10 grandkids... and now will be up to 7 great grandkids in January. It's a good thing their house is big enough to hold everyone, because holidays get a little crazy and a little loud.. but that's the way we like it! :)

My grandparents celebrated their 55th Anniversary in January. Earlier this month, the entire family got together and gave them a present they've been wanting for a long time... family pictures! Gma picked out the clothing and the location and I did my best to get everyone in the shots.

The whole clan. (It's hard to take pictures when you're in front of the camera. Yay for remotes!)

More from the day....

Thank you to the family for giving Gpa and Gma these great memories!

Oh.. the ending to the short story? ...and they lived happily ever after!

Amanda and John are married!!!

I ventured over to Fergus Falls, MN on Saturday for Amanda and John's wedding! They had perfect weather for their day and there was only one wardrobe mishap! (Bridesmaids dress caught in door... tail getting ripped off by a tire. Oops.) Thanks to a groomsman who pulled over and picked it up and to Amanda's grandma who just happened to have her sewing machine there for the quick fix! We had to rearrange pictures around just a bit, but we got everything done with time to spare.

All of the groomsmen led John out to see Amanda!

We went to an abandoned hospital for some group shots. The wedding party was telling me stories about orbs and people showing up in the windows of places in other wedding pictures they have seen taken here. After thoroughly examining the ones I took that day, I didn't find a single one! It was a little disappointing. Sorry, TAPS fans.

Take Note: Bubble exits are my favorite type!

There comes a time when the bridal party gets a little out of control... this may have been it.

But I put their energy to good use!

I thought it was sweet when John and his mom were singing along to the song they picked for their dance. Maybe they should have had mics! :)

It was a beautiful wedding and I had a ton of fun! Thank you guys for being so great and good luck in DL! :)

Brooke - Class of 2011 - Pt 2

Brooke and I met for the last portion of her Senior session at the Red River Valley Fair. I decided that I love doing pictures at the fair. I will for sure book more sessions again during it next year!

You can see more that took place on the Facebook page.

Thanks for being so awesome, Brooke!

Krissandra & Anthony!

I have known Anthony forever and I've known Krissy for a few years now. They are so much fun to hang around with.. especially at a fair! We went to the Red River Valley Fair to shoot their engagement pictures about a week and a half ago. Here are just a few!

They risked their lives for this photo...

Thanks for being so awesome. Can't wait for the wedding next year!

Tucker

I'm excited every time Tucker's mom gives me a call (or MSN message) and asks for a session. We first met last summer for his 6 month session! (He was the baby driving the pickup.) He recently won the Kid Contest over on the Facebook page and it got him a free session this time. He seems happy about it.... :)

We had a great morning together! We played with bubbles, trucks, and went on the swings!

Then we headed near a wheat field. In a few years, I just want you to remember.. this one was all your mom's idea. I had nothing to do with it. ;)

Thanks for being so awesome, Tucker! I can't wait for your little brother or sister to arrive! :)

Kasey - WHS Class of 2011

Kasey and I met on a Saturday at her grandparents' farm, which happens to be not too far away from my parents' farm! They had lots of great places to use as backgrounds and the session being at her grandparents made it much more special! Here are a few from that morning-

She loves her puppy, just like me! :)

If you are a fan on Facebook, you already saw another one of Kasey in this shirt. I love it!

Check out those sweet shoes!

The Rosenkranz Family

I am so behind with my blog posts! I met with this family back on the 4th weekend. Here are a few from the session-

Happy 2nd Birthday Grace!

It's my sweet niece's 2nd birthday today! It has been so fun to watch her grow. Now she is talking and has developed her personality. You can definitely see it in her 2 year photos!

I get this look a lot....

What a cheeser! Typical Gracie!

A cowgirl at heart. As she would say, "Hee haw!"

So cute and mischievous at the same time!

Country Tractor Run 2010

I'm a little behind on my blogging! Back on the 26th, I photographed and videoed the Country Tractor Run for the fourth year in a row! It's so great to see so many people join together for a great cause.

It was a little dreary, but it only rained for a few miles!

One of the stops was at the Reservation Dam.

One of my favorite pictures from the day. The 69 tractors coming up the hill!

I just had to show off the Oliver lights..... :)

And Shelbey dancin' away!

Stay tuned for a blog post from last weekend and I'll have four new ones after this weekend!
