Brooke - Class of 2011 - Pt 2

Brooke and I met for the last portion of her Senior session at the Red River Valley Fair. I decided that I love doing pictures at the fair. I will for sure book more sessions again during it next year!

You can see more that took place on the Facebook page.

Thanks for being so awesome, Brooke!

Richie

Richie is another senior from right in Rosholt. In just a few months he will be off to face the world and I wish him and the rest of the Class of 2010 all the best!

I love red guitars. I just happened to have one myself. :)

Kyle!

Kyle is a Senior at Sisseton this year. I met him on his farm on Sunday to take his senior pictures! We ventured all over the yard and then back behind the house down near a small creek. It was beautiful! Here are just a few shots from the day.

Thomas!

Tom is a Senior at RHS this year. He is also a fellow Mac user and VERY creative. He has his own YouTube stream full of videos and shenanigans. You can view it here, but I have to tell you... Tom and I have a contest going for the amount of views on our websites. So if you view his, I'd appreciate at least five views on my site. :) Haha! All kidding aside, I had a great afternoon with him and his mom. Here is a super sneaky sneak peek:

Michael

Michael is a Senior at RHS this year. We finished up his pictures this past weekend. If you remember, he was the awesome wakeboarder from back in August.

Along with wakeboarding, he is into dirtbiking! This guy has skills!

He also plays football....

and is all around awesome.

This picture was one of the lasts of the day. So cool!

Shaelyn

I hung out with Shaelyn this afternoon. We had done her first picture in the sunflowers a few weeks ago and finished them up today! I had a blast and we got a ton of awesome shots!

She has the most beautiful eyes!

This one was taken in the studio! I love being able to do indoor shots.

This wall is one of my favorite places in Rosholt.

This one just might be my fav from the day! Thanks to my great aunt and uncle for letting us use their barn!

Shaelyn

Shae wanted to take some pictures with sunflowers, so we ventured out on Saturday afternoon and got a few shots with the ones that were still good! Can you say beautiful?

I can't wait to take the rest!

Michael and Ashton

I met Michael and Ashton on Tuesday afternoon. They are cousins and will both be graduating next spring. They both love wake boarding and being at the lake, so we did the first set of shots at Lake Elsie. There was no one else on the water and it was SO smooth. I've never seen it so still! We took some awesome action shots, some still shots, and some fun shots.

I was very impressed with their wake boarding skills!

This is one of my favorites from the day. I love it in black and white!

Did I mention that these two were hilarious? This next picture is a very good example of what their personalities are like!

Michael will be doing the rest of his session soon. Some will involve dirt bikes and snowboards! I can't wait!

Melissa

My dear little cousin is already a Senior. How did that happen? I'm pretty sure she is still only suppose to be five years old terrorizing the family with our other cousins at family get-togethers. We took some of her pictures about a month ago. We wanted to use these flowers in some of them (while they were still kind of blooming).

Sunset pictures on a railroad track = Awesomeness.

Can you guess where we took these pictures yesterday? :)

They had recently painted this awesome wall downtown in Fargo. We basically just wandered around near the Plains Art Museum and took her first set of shots yesterday.

Balloons and a windy day don't usually mix... unless you are creative enough to make it work and just a bit crazy. ;)

We took a TON of volleyball pics. Most were of her volleying and playing (because Senior pictures can't be ALL business) and there was even one that she would kill me if I posted... I think it involved her missing the ball and it hitting her. :) She looks pretty smooth here though.

We stopped at the depot on Main Ave and took some music pictures! She has been in chorus and band all throughout high school.

This fountain is one of my favorite places to take pictures.

The sign said 'No wading in the fountain.' It didn't say anything about sticking your toes in it!

Today, we took some shots at my parent's farm. Her prom dress from this spring was absolutely gorgeous!

We recreated this one from last year. Everyone loved it and we figured we should do it again when she is actually a senior.

She is known for being a bit of a tomboy. She loves her cars and bikes! This one was taken right down the back road from my parents/grandparents!

We headed a few miles north to the crick. You have to take dirt bike pictures at a location that you would actually drive it, right? (Even though we were always told NOT to drive through it.) :)

Remember that super exciting news I couldn't tell you all about? Well, I can tell you... soon. :) Check the blog later this week for that AWESOME announcement!
