Baby on the Way

I have had a few classes with Kayla since I have been back at school at MSUM. She is such a sweet girl and when she emailed me to do some maternity pictures, I was thrilled! We decided the best spot to do them in Fargo would be the Plains Art Museum. They have big open area on the 3rd floor that has lots of natural light with beautiful wood floors and brick walls. Awesome.  Here are a few from that afternoon. If you are a friend over on Facebook, you would have seen a few already!

Shaelee

Crystal - Calendar Girl!

Crystal came into the studio for some shots... FOR A CALENDAR! She was chosen for a national calendar and since it's kind of a long story, I'm going to tell you exactly what she told me-

"In March of 2009 I was chosen the 2008 Nursing Assistant of the Year Award and a $5,000 scholarship sponsored by Caretracker and AANAC. I was nominated by the Rosholt Care Center for my hard work and dedication to the resident's and the facility and was chosen out of 255 applicants in a nationwide contest sponsored by the above. They flew me out to Kansas City, MI to receive the award at their national convention. I also received a Millie of the Month award in April 2009 and also a 1,000 scholarship from the SDHCA (South Dakota Healthcare Association.) I received my nursing degree from Lake Area Technical Institute in July 2010 with a 4.0. I continue to work at the Care Center as a nurse. The calendar is being made by Caretracker featuring the finalists of the award and the runner-ups. I will be on the cover since being the first recipient of the award!"

She is definitely awesome. :)

Congrats again, Crystal! You definitely deserve it!

Coming Soon - Baby B!

I am going to be an auntie again in January! My sister-in-law came up from Nebraska this weekend for her baby shower and to see the family. We took some time out of the busy weekend to take some pictures of her at 27 weeks.

Tyler T. - RHS Class of 2011

Dennis & Haley

Dennis and Haley decided to get some anniversary pictures taken. What a great idea. :) We spent the afternoon at Lake Elsie taking advantage of the warm weather we were having! Here are a few from their session.

Baby C

Baby C had full determination not to fall asleep for her first shoot with me. I also had full determination to do what I wanted. :) Even though we had to work a little extra, we got amazing shots of her! If you are a fan over on Facebook you would have already seen these first two.

Since it was 70*+ out that day, we took full advantage and did some pumpkin pictures outdoors! 

Mini Sessions

The weather was absolutely perfect for mini sessions. Not too hot, not too cold. A little bit cloudy on Saturday. Awesome. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Aubrey is 1!

Aubrey turned 1 and she came into the studio to celebrate with me this morning! Her brother even joined in on the fun!

Her cake smashing was really more of a cake picking. :)

Everett is here!
